Dynamo is a horror game in the dark in three chapters: a torch you charge by winding its crank, and things that hear it. Then THE DESCENT, an endless run through all three, and a new Daily night every day. On Playdate, Windows and Linux.

Playdate: upload the .pdx zip at play.date/account/sideload, then on your Playdate open Settings > Games and refresh. PC: unzip and run Dynamo. Nothing to install.7

How do I install it on Playdate? Download the .pdx zip, upload it at play.date/account/sideload, then on your Playdate open Settings > Games and refresh. You can also drag the unzipped Dynamo.pdx into the Playdate Simulator.

How do I install it on PC? Windows: unzip and run Dynamo.exe. Linux: unzip and run Dynamo. Nothing to install.

Do I need the crank? No. Settings > CONTROLS: the crank, holding B or shaking winds the torch, and every combination can finish the game.

What are THE DESCENT and the Daily? Once chapter 1 is finished, EXTRAS opens ENDLESS (THE DESCENT through every chapter, or one chapter all the way down) and the DAILY: three depths on a named night, the same for everyone that day. Your first Daily run is the one kept, with a code to share.

Is it scary? It has sudden scares and a creature that hunts you in the dark. Reduce Flashing is respected.
